Ron Wolford is a role model, not just in the building business but in the community. “Integrity”,” honesty” and “experienced” are words used to describe Ron by all who know him.Ron learned his work ethic and passion for quality, from his father, William Wolford, whose many multi family structures house thousands of individuals in Louisville and Southern Indiana, today. Ron earned his degree in business from Western Kentucky University while working on his father’s job sites, learning the intricacies of individual building crafts.A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Ron Wolford is no stranger to teamwork and winning strategies. As a star football player for Trinity High School, Ron was instrumental in leading their team to the first state championship in the school’s history. Ron started his building company, Wolford Built Homes in 1974 and has won every major building associated award offered in Louisville including The Home Builders Association of Louisville’s Tour of Remodeled Homes “Best of ”, and has participated in multiple showcase home events including Homearama and The Dream Factories’ “Dream House”. In addition, Ron has been recognized on a national and international level. Professional Remodeler’s Magazine described an acclaimed historic remodel project as “a perfect 10.” Ron is the only Louisville based builder to be featured on the international TV show Cribs and has won “Best of Houzz, EVERY YEAR as voted on by over 25 million viewers. With over 700 luxury homes and remodels created to date, it is no surprise to continually see his exquisitely crafted homes featured in local and national publications.Ron does not just build the best in beautiful homes, he builds relationships and communities. He has been the leader and pioneer in Louisville’s finest developments and an active participant in charitable causes. Ron attributes his strong character in part to his membership in Sigma Chi Fraternity and strives to live by their creed; “..that I will endeavor to build myself and so conduct myself that I will forever
be a credit to our Fraternity. “

Ron married noted artist, Martha Brown and together they have started a new chapter in building excellence. Martha has been educated at the finest design schools in the world including the University of Florence in Italy, Parson’s School of Design in Paris and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Martha brings a keen knowledge of current design trends to the partnership as well as interpersonal relationship skills. They promise to be a formidable pair in creating Louisville’s architectural icons of tomorrow.
